I've been building a Scale version of my Foxbody and I thought I would share some pics.

Kinja'd!!!

Had to buy a 1993 Cobra model kit for the chassis and interior, but luckily found a discontinued Resin LX hatchback body that required a little Modification up front.

Kinja'd!!!

Cut out the cobra grille and made it into my CDC Grille bar delete and added bondo to the bottom to beef up that bottom valance.

Kinja'd!!!

Did some suspension mods and added more low!

Kinja'd!!!

Currently adding primer!

Kinja'd!!!

Put the 5.0 together last week.

Kinja'd!!!

Completed Interior shot.

Kinja'd!!!

Exhaust and suspension shot!

Sorry for the instagram pics, but its the easiest way to do progress shots. I've also scaled down the graphics from my car and have Waterslide decal paper on the way to apply them. I also have a set of these wheels on the way too!

Kinja'd!!!

Stay tuned for more updates!

It's actually been really relaxing to do while breaking between classes and homework.

Here's the real one! A '93 LX hatchback 2.3L

Yeah the coupe casting is awesome! I wish I was lucky enough to have the exact model available so easy. This costed about twice the price of a regular model job after the $30 body and the bondo I had to buy.
